As the fragile “ceasefire” in Gaza enters its fourth day, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office said it will maintain control of the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip with European monitors supervising the crossing surrounded by Israeli troops.

Meanwhile, the confirmed Palestinian death toll continues to rise as families return to their devastated neighborhoods to dig the bodies and remains of their loved ones out of the rubble. Over 180 bodies have been recovered over the past three days alone, according to the ministry of health.
