In recent years, many scholars have called for the decolonisation of education in African schools and universities in all subjects – health included. Despite some progress, it is widely considered that knowledge institutions still have a lot to improve upon.
This is to invite you to join a dedicated panel of practitioners and researchers who will be debating their experiences of bringing ‘local’ forms together with ‘formal’ forms of knowledge at different African universities. This online discussion is part of the Africa Knows! Conference, which connects scholars from all over the world in different panels that cover a wide range of topics concerning current knowledge issues in Africa.
Conference Panel 29 will be on 1 February between 14.00 – 18.00 If you are interested in joining the discussion, more information can be found…here
