The Department of Labour in South Africa has issued a notice that the Workmen’s Compensation Fund will pay for disablement and death in the event of ANY employee, especially health care workers, getting COVID-19 infections. Workers will have to submit the usual Workmens Compensation Act documents with a valid diagnosis for a claim. Have a look at the full document here.
