The marks of torture, including various scars and wounds, are still visible on the body of the released prisoner (A.A.). He recounts his suffering and the suffering of his fellow prisoners inside the jails and detention centers of Marib, which are run by military groups of the Islah Party, backed by the countries of the war coalition against Yemen.

The jailers brutally beat us from head to toe with various instruments, including iron rods, electrical cables, and sticks.
