When providing medical consultation or treatment in the form of telemedicine, the physician must ensure that this form of communication is medically justifiable and that the necessary medical care is guaranteed, particularly through the manner in which diagnostic assessment, medical consultation, treatment and documentation are carried out. The physician is also obligated to inform the patient about the particularities of receiving medical consultation and treatment via communications media. Wherever helpful, physicians must aim to provide medical consultation and treatment to patients through direct, personal contact.’
