| Participate in a virtual public town-hall meeting with NCD Alliance and The Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response to share your insights on the dynamics of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) on the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as ideas to secure a world better prepared to respond to a future pandemic.
This event will listen to people with front-line experiences such as people living with NCDs, researchers, health care professionals and advocates to understand the direct health impacts of COVID-19 on those living with NCDs; on the challenges faced by people managing NCDs throughout this pandemic; and on the ways in which ensuring essential prevention and care services for NCDs can help future pandemic planning and response.
Evidence gathered through this session will inform key themes in The Panel’s Program of Work and contribute to The Independent Panel’s report findings.
