Dr. Tom Boyles of Helen Joseph Hospital talked about Personal Protective Equipment for COVID-19. Tom is an infectious disease specialist at Helen Joseph Hospital in Johannesburg. He spent 3 months working on the response to Ebola in Sierra Leone in 2014-15 and therefore has practical experience of using PPE and of setting up facilities to cope with dangerous pathogens. He is currently working on materials for facility readiness in South Africa.
