world_health_organization_logo_logotype-700x207I am a member of WHO Guidelines development group for development of guidance on integrating Hepatitis B with PMTCT prevention. In this respect in order to get the view of health workers WHO has developed the survey below. Please see the request on engaging health care workers.

If any member of the Hifa or Chifa groups could complete the survey by August 31st – we can use the results to inform the meeting which will be held 9-10 September.

Many thanks in advance

Engagement of Health Workers

To achieve this, we would like to engage health care workers working on viral hepatitis, mother and child health and the expanded programme of immunization. We would like them to express their views on the challenges and feasibility of implementing potential recommendations such as testing pregnant women in view of antiviral treatment. We have created a short online consultation tool that will take 5 to 10 minutes to complete. We would be grateful if you could distribute the link below within your network. It would be especially great if we can get responses from health care workers from low and middle income countries. Please feel free to complete the consultation yourself if it applies to you. We are keen to discuss the results during the meeting.

I attach the link to the consultation below.

The results of the consultation will be presented at the GDG meeting and taken into consideration for the formulation of recommendations.
