A rising star in Family Medicine, Dr. Jessie Mbamba, pictured here presenting research this month at the COM-RSC Research Dissemination Conference. In June, Jessie was awarded the Atai scholarship to attend the WONCA Africa conference and elected to represent Malawi on the WONCA Working Party on Women and Family Medicine. She also recently had an abstract published in Reviews in Antiviral Therapy & Infectious Disease
Representatives of the College of Medicine (COM) including Family Medicine were honored to meet with a delegation from the Norwegian Medical Association and the Malawi Society of Medical Doctors to discuss primary care and family medicine. Seen here on a visit to the COM Clinic.
