Jhb CPD: “Management of vaginal bleeding” 3pm Thurs 8 April

The Department of Family Medicine in the Johannesburg Health District has a weekly CPD webinar on Thursday afternoons.

See Dr. Motlatsi Mokoape, gynaecologist from Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital (CHBAH) talk about the “Management of vaginal bleeding” 3 pm Thurs 8th April 2021. Dr. Mokoape obtained her Fellowship (FCOG) in 2017, under the Wits circuit. She got her degree in medicine (MBChB) in 2001, at the Medical Unversity of Southern Africa (Medunsa). Prior to that she studied Medical Technology at Wits Tech, now University of Johannesburg.

She has spent most of her work time at CMJAH, where she did her internship, CHBAH, where she did her community service and worked as a medical officer at Natalspruit Hospital (Thelle Mogoerane) where she was a medical officer.  She then moved out of government to work as a general practitioner.

She subsequently returned to government to specialise as it had always been her passion. She is presently employed at CHBAH as a specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
