Global Health Education

The existing fragmentation within the field of Global Health Education GHE as well as the range of aspects, players and sources of information regarding Global Health present a special challenge for teaching and further training tasks. It is thus an important step to strengthen GHE through simple means by furnishing a collection of high- quality and up-to-date materials on one platform.

This was the reason for the launch of the GLOBAL HEALTH EDUCATION TOOLBOX www.ghebox.org. The Toolbox is part of MEDBOX www.medbox.org.

The new GLOBAL HEALTH EDUCATION TOOLBOX has been developed to further and simplify the access  into teaching/learning about Global Health. A structured selection of background documents, manuals, brochures, online courses and other practice-oriented materials for one’s own further education or  peer-group-learning are available in German and English and can be downloaded from one website:  www.ghebox.org

Target groups are mainly students and tutors, in particular professionals with a current or planned development policy activity at home and abroad.
