Nearly half of the world’s population still lacks access to essential health services and Africa is the most affected continent. Fewer than 50% of Africans have access to modern health facilities. Many African countries spend less than 10% of their GDP on health care and there is a great shortage of trained health care professionals.

There is no doubt that Telehealth could play a big role in supporting the current healthcare systems and improve this situation! This conference aims to support Telehealth development in Africa that become an important element for the establishment of sustainable, viable and responsive health systems on the continent.

We would like to invite you and your members to join us at the Africa Telehealth Conference that will take place online on June 8-9 2021.

The second part (for French speaking countries) will be held on the 22nd of June – La Conférence Francophone de Télémédecine
