Dear Nursing Now group leaders,
14,297 nurses and midwives from 357 employers in 49 countries around the world have been enrolled in leadership development courses as part of the Nightingale Challenge. This enthusiasm is truly inspiring and we want to thank you for all the great work you have done to support this initiative. However, much more remains to be done if we are to reach our goal of 20,000 nurses and midwives signed up to leadership training courses in 2020.
How many nurses and midwives have been enrolled onto Nightingale Challenge courses in your country?
To help us reach our target of 20,000 in 2020, please follow the simple steps below.
Step One: Share across your groups now: As leaders of Nursing Now groups around the world, we ask you to share information about the Nightingale Challenge with your members. You can do this by contacting organisations in your networks directly, sharing information such as the brochure and links to the Nightingale Challenge web-page, and encouraging them to sign up at https://www.nursingnow.org/nightingale-sign-up/. We have written some suggested email text that you may wish to use to write to individual institutions, as well as a slide deck that can be used for presentations. These can be found at https://www.nursingnow.org/nightingale-marketing/
Step Two: Sign up your own organisation: If your organisation employs nurses and midwives, sign up today! Accepting the Nightingale Challenge takes just a few minutes by filling in your details here: https://www.nursingnow.org/nightingale-sign-up/
Step Three: Spread the word: We encourage you to publicly share, post and repost your support for the Nightingale Challenge on social media platforms, and at any events and conferences you attend. Here are some social media posts which you are welcome to use or adapt:
